Welcome to Girlguiding Ayrshire North!

Girlguiding Ayrshire North has over 2,000 young women and volunteers. The County stretches as far north as Largs down to Irvine on the west coast of Scotland, across to Kilmarnock, Stewarton and Darvel. It also includes the two islands of Arran and Cumbrae.

The County is home to the Blair Activity Centre and the famous Ayrwaves International Camp! It also hosted G in the Park – Girlguiding Scotland’s first-ever festival-style camp, in summer 2015.

We’re proud to be part of Girlguiding Scotland, the largest youth organisation for girls and women, which enables them to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world. Girls and women are aged 5-65+ can develop social skills, self-confidence, and independence, as well as participate in a variety of structured activities with fellow members that are not only fun but encourage tolerance, kindness and understanding of other people. The skills learned can be applied to various aspects of life both inside and outside Guiding, but it’s also a place to meet new friends and make a difference!
