More than 100 girls and leaders from across the Irvine Valley celebrated Thinking Day and The Senior Section Spectacular with a tea party, games and a campfire!

The girls took part in lots of different activities as part of The Senior Section Spectacular Tea Party Challenge Badge – a challenge which commemorates the 100th birthday of The Senior Section. They all decorated biscuits for afternoon tea, tried different teas from around the world, made iced tea, and took part in an experiment to discover the best biscuit for dunking into tea!

There were also games and songs which all members enjoyed!

Thanks to Louise Crichton who organised the event as part of her Queen’s Guide Award; Ruth Winning and Lorraine Dougan-Sloane for making sure it ran smoothly; UIV Trefoil for providing tea and biscuits; and all UIV Leaders who helped make the night a success.
