COUNTY ROLES

Training Coordinator

Coordinating 1st Response training (arranging dates and venues with trainers, managing sign ups and answering general queries). Approx. 2 hours a month. Full training and support will be given.

Queen’s Guide & Young Leader Coordinator

Supporting our Queen’s Guide candidates and Young Leaders to achieve their awards! This would include signposting opportunities to them, answering general queries, and hosting regular zoom/in-person sessions to help them achieve their awards. Approx. 2 hours a month. Full training/guidance/support will be given – you do not need to be a Queen’s Guide or Young Leader expert!

International Adviser

Coordinating County International Opportunities event (generally May/June time) to identify members interested in Girlguiding international trips. Supporting members going on international trips by signposting funding opportunities. Full training and support will be given, both at a County and Scottish level. Bulk of activity is May – August.


GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

Volunteer Enquiry Coordinator

Working with a small team to contact all new volunteer enquiries, collecting required info and completion of ID Check for PVG. Full training will be given. Assistance at Induction Events to promote a friendly and warm welcome to new volunteers.

Young Member Enquiry Coordinator

Assist units with high numbers on waiting lists; manage enquiries by deleting duplicate enquiries;
encourage transfer to units with spaces; identify opportunities for new units; and support Division Commissioners (as required) with the setting up team to support new unit.
